errors peRaining to the City Council's November 10,2014
special meeting and public hearing,the City is hereby
re-noticing and re-hearing the public hearing for Tuesday,
December 2,2014 at 6:4�P.M.,at Cupertino Community
Hall,10350 Torre Avenue(next to the library)regarding the
focused General Plan Amendment,Housing Element Update
and Associated Rezoning and Speci6c Plan Amendment
including certification of the Final Environmental Impact
Report(Final EIR)(Application Nos.GPA-2013-01,
GPA-2013-02,Z-2013-01,MCA-2014-01,SPA-2014-01 and
EA-2013-03).Any interested person may attend the meeting
and provide comments.At the December 2,2014 meeting the
Council will be advised to rescind all fina!actions it took on
November lOth.'The City will maintain a video record of all
public comment received at the November 10,2014
public hearing and will consider it part of the City's record,
in case any member of the public who commented on
November 10,2014 does not wish to comment again on
December 2,2014.All members of the public may comment
on December 2,2014,regardless of whether they spoke on
Kovember lOth.

Law requirements;

2014-2022 Housing Element as reyuired l�y State Law;
d.RezoninQ(Z-2013-01)of ceRain parcels in conjunction
with the citywide General Plan Amendment;
e.Municipal Code Amendment(MCA-2014-01)ro
comply with State Housing Law and the Housing
Element of the Generai Plan and other zoning code
amendments for clean-up and consistency;and
f.�ecific Plan Amendment(SPA-2014-Oi)to the Heart
of the City Specific Plan to conform with the General
Plan,including changes related to maximum residential
yie(d calculations and updated maps;
Environmental Recommendation:CertificaGon of

A map which indicates the properties under consideration for
either a General Plan designation change,zoning designation
change or as a Priority Housing Site is published below and
a list of the individual properties is in the classified,legal
advertisement section of this paper and available on-line at

descriptions of the propeRies involved,technical reports and
staff reports,is available online ar.www.c�ertinogpa.or�.
The Council will consider all types of Citywide development
policies and parameters,inclading heights,densities,land
uses,retail,commercial,industrial,and residential,including
properties within the Heart of the City,Homestead,North
Vallco,North De Anza,South De Anza,South Vallco 5pecial
Areas and the Vallco Shopping District.
On August 28,2014,the Housing Commission held a public
hearing and voted 5-0 to recommend approval of the proposed
General Plan amendments related to State Housing Law
reyuirements;amendments to the Ivtunicipal Code;and the
prioritization of the Potential Housing Element Sites.
(GPA-2013-02, MCA-2014-01).
On October 14,20i4 the Planning Commission held a public
hearing and continued the item to a public hearing on October
20,2014,at which it voted 4-0(Takahashi absent)to adopt
Resolution 6760 recommending that the City Council certify
the Final Environmental Impact Report(EA-2013-03)and
adopt findings,a statement of ovemding considerations and a
Mitigation Monitonng Reporting Program consistent with the
project recommended by the Planning Commission as follows:
approve the General Plan Amendment(GPA-2013-01)to
establish citywide development allocations for commercial,
office,and hotel uses,development parameters for key study
areas(indudingthe Vallco Shoppina district)and updates to
address recent State Law requirements,as amended,pursuant
to Resolution 676];authorize submittal of the draft Housing
Element(GPA-2013-0?)to the State Department of Housin�
and Community Development for its review and certification
and use of the alternative Priority Housing Sites list in case
one or more of the proposed Priority Ho�sing Sites is not
acceptable as amended,pursuant to Resolution 6762;adopt
an ordinance(7_-2013-01)to enact zoning designation
changes in conjunction with applications GPA-2013-01 and
GPA-2013-02 above,as amended,pursuant to Resolution
6763;adopt an ordinance to enact text amendments to the
Municipal Code(MCA-2014-01)to comply with State
Housing Law and the Housing Element of the General Plan
and other amendments for clean-up and consistency,which
amendments�nodify a chapter in Title 18,modify various
chapters in TiNe 19,including amending the Density Bonus
Ordinance,add a chapter in Title 19 on Below Market Rate
Hoasing to implement policies in the General Plan and add
a chapter in Title 13 on Parkland Dedication to improve
readabiltty,as amended,pursuant to Resolution 6764;and a
Specific Plan Amendment(SPA-2014-01)to the Heart of the
City Specific Plan to conform with the General Plan,including
changes related to maximum residential yield calculation and
updated maps,as amended,pursuant to Resolution 6765.
All environmental documents for the described applications
are available for public review at the CupeRino Community
Development Department,10300 Torre Avenue,Cupertino,
California,95014.
If you challenge the action of the City Council in court,you
may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone
else raised at the public hearing described in this notice,or in
written correspondence delivered to the City of Cupertino at,
or prior to,the public hearing.Please note that City Council
policy is to allow an applicant and groups to speak for 10
