Moved by Councilman Jewett that the City approve the issuance
of a bUilding permit for the proposed structure on the Swanson
property, northeast corner Vista Drive and Stevens Creek Blvd.
with the following conditions:
that a letter be drafted stating that Swanson will not be
included in any future street lighting district other than
one for the payment of lighting energy charges, and speci-
fying that the conditions administered by the City Engineer
be observed, including the bond requirement, 10 feet of new
sidewalk to the end of buildings on Vista, 2 electroliers
as indicated by the City Engineer, futher agreeing that the
widening of the existing pavement on stevens Creek Blvd.
and around the adjoining Vista corner be waived until ad-
joining property owners install full commercial sidewalks;

application, conditioned according to the Planning Commission
motion of recommendation; Seconded by Councilman Jewett.

authorizing execution of garbage contract by Mayor andCity
Clerk; Seconded by Councilman Benetti.

Amending Ordinance .007, Fixing Revised Fees For Service
And Declaring The Urgency Thereof.

aceed; Seconded by Councllman Jewett.

D. Councilman Saich moved that the City Clerk and Mayor be
authorized to sign a quit claim deed subject to clearance
of the City Attorney for property located at 20818 Fargo
Drive; Seconded by Councilman Lazaneo.

E. Moved by Councilman Saich that reimbursement of checking
and inspection funds to Oliver Rousseau Organization be
approved in the amount of $8,213.44, and that the City
Treasurer be authorized to sign a warrant in the above
amount; Seconded by Councilman Benetti.

F. Councilman Benetti, Saich andPelosi expect to attend the
California League of Cities in Los Gatos on Thursday, Nov-
ember 17, 1960.
G. Moved by Councilman Saich that the City Manager be author-
ized to take steps to install the usual decorated Chistmas
trees at the City Hall and local fire house, and make arr-
angements for Christmas carols; Seconded by Councilman Benetti.

H. Moved by Cauncilmmn Benetti that the City Manager be auth-
orized to purchase a water cooler, either the unit presently
rented or a new one; Seconded by Councilman Jewett.

I. The possibility of establishing 25 mile per hour speed limit
on Mt. View-Stevens Creek Road was discussed. Further study
will be made.
J. Friday, November 18, 1960, 8:00 P.M., City Hall was sched-
uled as the time and place for the joint meeting of the
Planning Commission and City Council.
