Worst ever
Comments about: I bought this bosch microwave a little over a year ago.Paid a lot of money for what I was told is good quality.
Microwave runs for about 3-6 seconds and then just shuts off.
My Bosch washing machine isn't spinning properly and it's just 2 years old.Just had to replace my Bosch
dishwasher at the cottage because repair service could not repair it.
Looks like I wont be purchasing bosch anymore.
Bosch response:Hi there,
We are very sorry for this.We have passed your information along to our customer service representative who will be in touch with you shortly.
Thankyou.

Poor Quality
Comments about: We are on our second unit in 1 year. The unit starts to heat up and then immediately turns off.Our first
microwave of the same model did the exact same thing and Bosch replaced the unit.
I have been waiting for a manager to call me back for over a week.I am very disappointed with the customer
service and the microwave unit.

Garbage
Comments about: I had this microwave about 13 months. Now it will run for 6 seconds then stop. This is not a cheap microwave.
My old one which cost under$200 still works. How disappointing.I would never recommend Bosch appliances
to anyone. The company seems it could care less that they have problems with microwave. When we remodeled
our kitchen a year ago,Bosch appliances were recommended. This microwave is nothing but JUNK.I cannot
believe that I am already having to purchase a new microwave.

Comments about: I purchased this microwave 3 years ago plus a wall oven and cooktop.Hopefully the oven and 000ktop will last
longer than the microwave. The microtron needs to be replaced and it will cost as much as buying a new
microwave.Evidently the microtron in this unit is defective judging by the other reviews.Shame on Bosch you
don'tstand behind your products!

Microwave problems
Comments about: We remodeled our kitchen, after 15 years,in August 2011.Our contractor recommended Bosch appliances
which we purchased. We had a large family gathering for thanksgiving this year and while trying to heat leftovers
the unit just quit heating.Fortunately we had put our 15 year old model in the garage and were able to get it out
and it still works fine. Then I read all the negative comments about this unit and I to am disappointed that
something like this would happen after 2 years.I have yet to call and find out how much it will cost to fix it but
from other comments I better be prepared to buy a new one.

Magnetron Defect common problem
Best Uses Heating Up Food on a Plate
Comments about: We have had this microwave in service for 1 year and 28 days and it has failed. It stops after 6 seconds. From
research this is Magnetron Defect which appears to be a common problem.I'm surprised that Bosch would sell a
product with a known ongoing defect.I am contacting Bosch tomorrow to determine the next steps. From
reading other postings,Bosch has not been cooperative, but I will see and update this posting based on their
response.

Big probleml!
a '
Comments about: We bought this microwave when we moved to our new house 15 months ago.We wanted to make sure to start
our new kitchen with quality appliances(so we also got the oven and stove too).I never imagined this would let
me down s0000 quick...It started making that wierd sound 2 weeks ago and suddenly shuts off.I called
customer service today and the answer was:a technician will come and diagnose the problem for$99(for the
trip)for the first 18 minutes then depending on the issue,if it takes longer he will charge me every 6 minutes.I
am so upset right now!Unbelievable for a brand like this to do this.It is not even supposed to be a warranty
matter,it is a model defect.Everyone describes the same problem within the same timeframe of use.It shouldn't
be sold.I don't know what I am going to do but I am really disappointed by BOSCH and just pray that the rest of
the appliances will not do the same..

Microwave causes interference with my TV
Some radio and TV interference might occur when you use the microwave. This interference is similar to the interference caused
by small appliances, such as mixers, vacuums, blow dryers, etc. It does not indicate a problem with the microwave.
Steam accumulates on the microwave door and warm air comes from the vents.
Steam sometimes condenses on the microwave's cooler surfaces, such as the door. This is normal and the microwave should be
wiped dry with a soft doth should this occur.During cooking, steam and warm air are given off from the food. Most of the steam
and warm air are removed from the microwave by the air which circulates inside the microwave. However, some steam may
condense on cooler surfaces such as the microwave door.
Microwave has an odor and generates smoke when using the Bake function.
Fat and grease that has built up on the interior ceiling and walls of the microwave may begin to smoke if not cleaned. It is
essential that your microwave is wiped regularly, particularly after cooking.
When the microwave Is cooking, the ceramic tray makes noises.
The roller ring and the interior bottom of the microwave may be dirty.Clean the roller ring and the microwave according to the
"Cleaning&Care Instructions for your Microwave".
Cleaning&Care
Cleaning and care instructions for your microwave.
Before cleaning:Unplug the microwave. If the outlet is inaccessible, leave the microwave door open while cleaning.Make sure
all parts are cool before cleaning.
To clean the interior:Wipe with a damp cloth and dry with a soft cloth.A mild detergent may also be used.Avoid using harsh
detergents and abrasive cleaning detergents and sponges.Do not use cleaning materials that contain chlorine since it is
corrosive to stainless steel.Do not use oven cleaners. To prevent baked-on soil, clean food spatters or spilled liquids as they
occur. To help loosen soil before cleaning, heat 2 cups of water in a 4 cup measuring container at high power for 5 minutes or
until boiling.
To clean the exterior:Clean with a damp cloth and dry with a soft cloth.Water should not be allowed to seep into ventilation
openings as this will potentially damage the microwave.
To clean stainless steel:Wipe with the grain when cleaning stainless steel. Use a mild,non-abrasive cleaning agent or
stainless steel cleaner with a soft cloth.Wipe dry to avoid water marks.Warning:Some stainless steel cleaners are known to
have negative effects on materials other than stainless steel.Make sure to apply stainless steel cleaner to stainless
steel components onlyl
To clean the control panel:When cleaning the control panel, leave the microwave door open to prevent it from accidentally
turning on. If the control panel becomes wet, clean it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use harsh detergents or abrasives.
To clean microwave turntable:Wash in warm, sudsy water and wipe dry or use a dishwasher.
To clean the roller ring underneath the turntable:Wash in mild, sudsy water and wipe dry or use a dishwasher.
