Architectural Site Approval for an approved mixed-use project consisting of 107
condominiums and 6,386 square feet of commercial space.
Design Review Committee decision final unless appealed.
Staff Presentation: Peter Gilli, Senior Planner, briefly described the project. Mr. Gilli
stated that the only issue that would need to be resolved in the future was the public
artwork, which would be reviewed by the Fine Arts Committee. The architectural
consultant and staff recommend approval.
Jim Yee, Dahlin Group, explained that the highlights of the architecture were the granite
inserts and the roof material. The landscape and the lighting were also highlights.
Jane Vaughan, Menlo Equities, briefly talked about the property, the plaza and future
tenants.
Discussion continued regarding the landscape, the removal of the trellis and the
artwork.
Mr. Miller asked about the amenities for the residents. Janet from the Dahlin Group
showed the samples in the plan sets. Discussion continued regarding the amenities.
Mr. Wong asked about connectivity with Valleo. Ms. Vaughan stated that that was
already part of the use permit. Discussion continued regarding future tenants.
