l 1, 1994, approving an exception according to the unclosed copy of the Planning Commission
Resolution No. 4492.
Pleaze note these conditions carefully. Subsequent submittal of materials for building permits or
other entitlements will be checked for compliance with the conditions listed in the Resolution;

SPANNERS BETWEEN GASOLINE DISPENSERS, AND TO EXCEED
THE NUMBER OF BUILDING SIGNS FOR A COMMERCIAL BUILDING ALLOWED BY
CHAPTER 17.24 OF THE CUPERTINO MUNICIPAL CODE
SECTION 1• PROJECT DESCRIPTTON
Apnlication 6-ASA-93 - Robert H Lee & Ascociatec jChevron U.S.A.1: Requesting architectural review to add
three illuminated spanners between gasoline dispensers, and to exceed the number of building signs for a
commercial building allowed by Chapter 17.24 of the Cupertino Municipal Code. The project is located at
10023 S. De Anus Boulevard.
SECTION ^: FINDINGS
A. That the literal enforcement of the provisions of this ordinance will result in restrictions inconsistent with the
spirit and intent of this ordinance;
B. That the granting of the exception will not result in a condition which is materially detrimental to the public
health, safety, or welfare; and
C. That the exception to be granted is one that will require the least modification of the prescribed regulations
and the minimum variance that will accomplish the purpose.
D. That the spanners add architectural interest to the site
