Regular Meeting
July 16, 1997
1. CALL TO ORDER
At 7:41 a.m. Carol Atwood called the meeting to order in Conference Room C & D of
Cupertino City Hall, 10300 Torre Avenue, Cupertino.

3. NEW BUSINESS
A.
Real Estate Broker Presentation
Brian Bokman gave a brief update regarding real estate development in Cupertino
Discussions included relocation of existing businesses and potential new business.
4. OLD BUSINESS
A.
Vallco
Carol Atwood reported that Federated has requested a business license to open a
Macy's Clearance Center at the Emporium site. She stated that Teachers have been
notified and will probably try to stop it. She also stated that the City cannot deny a
business license.
B.
Brochure
Carol Atwood reported that the brochure jackets should be completed on July 18. She
stated that 5,000 covers were ordered and will be available for the Chamber, Parks
and Recreation marketing, and economic development purposes. Inserts for the
brochure will be done internally and are currently underway.
