Vallco Update
Carol reported on a meeting that was held with the Attorney General regarding our
concerns. She stated that they will be reviewing the matter but have not yet
committed to pursuing the matter with Federated. Carol also reported that Federated
has requested all records regarding Valleo since June 1. She stated that we will be
providing the information requested during the next two to three weeks.
Sedway Report Review/Update
Bob Cowan updated the committee on the results ofthe August 20 broker meeting.
George Steele and Tom Hall both stated that they felt the August 20 minutes were
very clear that the brokers believe there is currently enough retail space available and
enough opportunity to redevelop centers to meet the city's needs. Carol Atwood
proposed that the committee make a recommendation to City Council to allow
conversion from retail to office for the Deke Hunter proposal and to allow Tandem to
expand their campus provided a hotel is included on site. The committee agreed
unanimously with this proposal.
5. ADJOURNMENT
