CALL TO ORDER
At 7:40 a.m. Carol Atwood called the meeting to order at Cupertino City Hall, 10300
Torre Avenue, Conference Room A, Cupertino.

NEW BUSINESS
A.
Apple Towers Building Lease
Carol Atwood reported that BEA will no longer be leasing the Apple Towers.
Sun Micro has agreed to a 10 year lease for approximately 200,000 square feet.
B.
Apple Sales Tax Agreement
Carol Atwood reported that there have been two quarters of sales/use tax income
above the $100,000 level which should allow for the incentive agreement to
trigger a rebate to Apple next quarter. It was noted that the Campbell sales office
will close in January and that Terry Ryan is continuing to work on internet sales
reporting. Unfortunately, Apple's decision on Macintosh clones has resulted in
Power Computing shutting down.

OLD BUSINESS
A.
Valko Update
Don Brown reported that Macy's West is planning a first class operation in
Cupertino by the Spring of 1998. It is expected that the store will be a notch
above their Sunnyvale location, but not as nice as Valley Fair. He also stated that
the attorney general is still pursuing settlement agreements prohibiting anti-trust
activities.
