CALL TO ORDER
At 7:38 a.m., Carol Atwood called the meeting to order in Conference Room A,
Cupertino City Hall, 10300 Torre Avenue.

NEW BUSINESS
Carol Atwood discussed the Intemet sales tax agreement with the committee.
explained the purpose of the program and described details of the agreement.

OLD BUSINESS
Bob Cowan distributed the current development activity report. He stated that Walgreens
would like to have the entire complex, but nothing has been decided yet. The Market
Place would like to remove the restaurant and add Sweet Tomatoes. There is also a legal
dispute between Longs and the Market Place regarding the parking design.
Carol Atwood reported that the City is working with the developer on the Vallco property
and that redevelopment agency plans are still moving forward.
5.
MISCELLANEOUS COMMITTEE UPDATES
Linda Asbury reported that TGIF and Outback Steakhouse received awards for top sales.
Carol Atwood reported that Donna Lawler has resigned from the Economic Development
Committee. She also stated that Portal Software is scheduled to move into their new
Cupertino location on December 15.
