Glendale Neighborhood Revitalization Status Report
Bob Cowan reviewed the Glendale project with the committee. He stated that it is
a project which revitalizes shopping centers that are 15 years or older and
encourages owners to rehabilitate their centers with incentives. The committee
viewed a slide presentation that showed areas of Cupertino that could be
revitalized. The committee determined that this project may not be the most
effective way to revitalize older centers in Cupertino, but that the committee
should encourage shopping center owners to revitalize. Bob will check with
brokers regarding a pre-summit meeting to determine what can be done to
encourage revitalization of older centers.
