Purpose and Intent:
*This criteria has been established for the purpose of maintaining a
continuity of quality and aesthetics throughout the Shopping Center for
the mutual benefit of all tenants,and to comply with the regulations of
the City of Cupertino.
*The intent of the sign criteria is to ensure consistency of letter styles and
colors of tenant signs. The signs specified will oi�'er optimum tenant
identifv when designed in coiifor►Zlance with the design standards.
General Requirements:
* Prior to fabrication or applying for city approvals,the tenant sign
contractor shall submit two(2)sets of scaled,detailed color drawings
indicating the location,size, layout,design,color,illumination,materials,
and method of attachment to the landlord for approval.
'�`Any sign Contractor performing work for any tenant should submit to
owner certificate of worker's compensation,general liability insurance,
current and valid California Contractors License and UL verification.
*All signage must have the reguired City of Cupertino permits prior to
fabrication and installation. All permits and fees for signs and their
installation shall be obtained by the Tenant or its representative.
*All signs shall be constructed at the Tenant's expense.
*Tenant shall remove his sign and return affected area to its original
condition within 30 days following cessation of use.
* Wording of signs shall not include the product sold(or advertising for that
product)except as part of the tenants business name,logo or trademark
Window Sign:
* Window signs should not exceed twenty-five percent(25%)of the window surface.

Wall Sign:
*Tenants shall be allowed 1 square foot of sign area for each lineal foot of
leased store frontage. Sign length shall not exceed 70%of leased
frontage.
* Each tenant shall be allowed a minimum of 20 square feet of sign area
regardless of the length of leased frontage,and no tenant shall be
allowed more than 200 square feet of sign area.
* Tenants shall be allowed a�one sign per leased frontage. �
Tenants with more than one frontage may have a sign on each elevation
* Letter style will be tenant choice with landlord approval. Consistency of
colors and styles from one tenant to another is encourage. Letters shall
be minimum 1/8"thick acrylic with 3/4"trim cap.
* Logo sizes shall not exceed 24" height or 15%of the sign length.
* Maximum letter height shall be 24"
* All signs shall be manufactured and installed in accordance with the
National Electrical Code Section 600,Underwriter Labs Section#48 and
bear the"Electric Sign Section" UL Label and appropriate manufacturers
label on each letter or section.
* Landlord reserves the right to have its sign/electrical contractor check
signs after installation,at the tenants sole reasonable expense,for
compliance with the codes and U.L. Specification.
Prohibited Sign:
*_No flashing,flickering,blinking,animated,or moving lights or signs shall
be permitted.
