approximately 1000 square feet, to an existing residence.
Design Review Committee decision final unless appealed
Staff Presentation: Peter Gilli, Associate Planner, gave a brief explanation of the project.
Larry Cannon, Architectural Consultant, had a few concerns that the applicant has
already addressed. Staff has no concerns with the project, except for privacy protection,
which has been conditioned into the Model Resolution. The applicant indicated that they
have talked to all of the neighbors in the cul-de-sac, and all were agreeable to the project.
Staff recommends approval as shown in the plan set.

Design review for a first and second story addition resulting in a 2,671 square foot
residence.
Design Review Committee decision final unless appealed
Staff Presentation: Mr. Gilli gave a brief project description. Mr. Cannon, Architectural
- Consultant and Staff were able to review the plans. Them was a concern regarding the

front elevation. The applicant has agreed to amend the plans based on Exhibit A. Other
changes are the addition of outriggers to the gable roof, shrubbery is to be planted on
either side of the doorway, the floodlights on the far comers of the front elevation are to
be removed, and ornamental residential lights are to be placed on either side of the
doorway above the shrubbery. All these conditions are subject to the approval of the
Planning Director at the building permit stage. Staff recommends approval based on the
model resolution.
Chairperson Corr would like to amend the resolution to add a condition to extend the
entry feature outward about 1 foot.
