ROLL CALL - Commissioners present: Buvanesh, Mol, Prasad, Smithline, Swamy,

MINUTES FROM PREVIOUS MEETING
a) December 4, 2013 Commissioner Buvanesh motions to approve minutes. Commissioner Yun
seconds. Motion passes unanimously.

NEW BUSINESS
a) Introduction of Stephany Ganeles, IntE!rim- Coordinator
b) Intergeneration Event Brainstorm with Senior Center Staff Mary Lou Robinson
and Justin Cecil. Discussion on ideas for event, brainstorm. Took back five ideas
to Senior Center: Game /Sharing, Art/Pottery, Dinner /Lunch, Teaching Event,
Dance /Flash Mob.
c) Community Garden Discussion/ Commitment Level — Would like know
commitment level, created additional questions for Dave Jahns: maintenance,
tools; getting started, funding, help from Master Gardener.
d) Giving Tree Debrief — Was a rewarding event for commissioners to participate in,
were able to see the results.
e) Select Date for Presentation to City Council on 2013 -2014 Work Plan Items —
Create a power point about 6 slides, be prepared to talk about Walk One Week.
Would like to do April 1t or March 18tH
f) 2014 YAC Attack
Review Date /Location — March 1% Saturday in Mountain View
Day -of Participation — Go to whichever classes in section you would like
to attend, come back with good content for group.
Expectations — representing the City of Cupertino
g) 2013 -2014 Work Plan Timeline Review,/ Refresh
- World Record: 6 -12 weE!k process, review process /pick topic by
next meeting 1/22
- City Social: Entertainment, lots of planning, control over
attendees, what is the event, need boundaries, City of
Cupertino, Commission Social possibility, come back next
meeting with ideas to discuss
