As a member of the District's lower Peninsula Watershed Advisory Committee. I would
like to offer your City Gc~uncil a presentation or u-~orkshop on the Permanents Creek
Flood Protection Project, and •inform you that District staff will be presenting the
Perrnanente Creek Planning Study to the District's Board in late September or early
October. •
In February 2008, the bistrict offered to conduct a workshop andlor give a presentation
ort the ftoad protection project to all the Cities with an interest in this flood protection
project, including the City ofi Cupertino. Since then, ate have conducted a workshop far
the City of Mountain View, made a presentation to the City of los Altos, and have_
discussed the project with District Five Santa Glara County Supervisor Liz Kniss.
