This study showed that Blackberry Farm is lower than the median price. Fees at Blackberry Farm have not been increased since August of 2004. An increase in the fees of $1:00 will bring in approximately $50,000 per year in additional revenue. Needed improvements at Blackberry Farm include renovating tee boxes and greens. In addition, the irrigation system is over 45 years old and continually needs repairs. This fee increase will enable us to start renovations that will improve and enhance the facilities. Staff posted a notice that fees were to be increased by $1.00 per green fee. Stakeholders were invited to attend a meeting to discuss the fees and golf course improvements. There were no negative comments about the increase and the customers are excited about the current and future golf course improvements. STAFF RECOMMENDATION On June 1, 2008 City Manager David Knapp approved a $1.00 per round increase effective August 1, 2008.
