A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
AUTHORIZING SUBMITTAL OF AN APPLICATION FOR TRANSPORTATION
DEVELOPMENT ACT ARTICLE 3 BICYCLE AND PEDESTRIAN FUND
PROGRAM TO FUND THE CITY-WIDE BICYCLE PARK1NG FACILITIES
PROJECT
WHEREAS, The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority is soliciting bicycle
and pedestrian projects for funding under 'l~ransportation Development Act Article 3
Bicycle and Pedestrian Fund Program for fiscal year 2001-2002; and
WHEREAS, staff is proposing the City-Wide Bicycle Parking Facilities Project to
construct off-street bicycle parking facilities at Monta Vista High School, De Anza
College, Cupertino High School, and Homestead High School;
WHEREAS, the City-Wide Bicycle Parking Facilities Project is eligible for TDA
Article 3 Funding for a guaranteed amount of $51,789.00.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of
Cupertino hereby authorizes submittal of an application for Transportation Development
Act Article 3 Bicycle and Pedestrian Fund Program to fund the City-Wide Bicycle
Parking Facilities Project.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Cupertino this 2nd day of April, 2001, by the following vote:
