AS REFERRED TO HEREIN AND ADOPTING STANDARD FORM OF COUNCIL RLSC'LU T ION GRANTING
VARIANCES.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of tihe City of Cupertino by Planning
Commission Resolution No. 15 adopted certain official Planning Commission
Resolution forms for use in connection with applications for T» E P'F ffTS,
VARIANCES AND ZONE CHM?GES, and "
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Cupertino finds than
said forms comply with the zoning ordinance of the City, and
W EREAS, the City Council of the City of Cupertino has read a
form resolution of said Council granting VARIANCES and finds said form
to be in accord with the zoning ordinance of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That Planning Commission Resolution No. 15 is hereby approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
That official form Resolution of the City Council granting VARIANCES
is hereby adopted, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part
hereof as Exhibit "A"
PASSED AND ADOPTED, this 18th day of July, 1960, at a reTilar meet-
ing of the City Council of the City of Cupertino by the following vote:

AS RECO (ENDED BY PLANNING COIvL'IISSION RESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Cupertino has rocomir.endcd
VARIANCE by Planning Commission Resolution No. as requested in appli-
cation duly submitted; and
WHEREAS, the Council finds as follows:
1. That the proposed variance does not create a result contrary to the
intent of the zoning ordinance or to the public interest, safety,
health and welfare.
2. That there are special conditions or exceptional character_ -stics to
its location or surroundings so that a literal enforcement of the
ordinancAs would result in practical difficulties or unnecessary
hardships.
3• That the conditions recommended by the Planning Commission are
reasonable and will result in compliance with the ordinance of the
City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED:
That the VARIANCE recommended by Planning Commission Resolution No.
