, the CITY OF CUPERTINO has defined Volfe Road through
said City as a major city street anc: established said road as a
90 foot right-of-way, as s! own on Z'MiIBIT "A" attached hereto;
and
WHEREAS, the CITY OF SUNNYVALE tas established said > , 1 1 olfe . oaci
as a 90 foot right-of-way, where said road �s under the Jurisdlc-tlon
of said City; and

as a future major thoroughfare between the proposed Central Express-
way and Prospect Road, the City of Cupertino has determined that
access of said Golfe P,oad to State F.oute 239 freeway is a necessity
and as required by the Streets and I-Aghways Code, shall request to
the :state of California Hizhways Coamission, by resolution, for said
commissions permission for said access of 'Nolfe ;"'Ioad to Zstate F`.oute

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT TRIESOLVED, that the City Council of the
City of Sunnyvale is hereby requested to consider defining 4olfe '<oad
as a major city street; and
BE IT' FURTHER RESOLVED, that said City Council further consider
the necessity of access of said lolfe f-toad with State Route 239,
freeway and approve the request of the City of Cupertino to the
California Highways Commission for its permission for said access of
Nolfe Roa6 with State Route 239, freeway,
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of July, 1959, by the following
vote:
