IN REPLY TO SUNNYVALE CITY COUNCIL
WHEREAS., the City Council of the City of SunnWvale in public meeting
with the City Council of Cupertino on Fric Ay, November 11 # 1955 has proposed
a treaty defining the boundary limits of the two cities as being at Homestead
Road and further that the City Council of Sunnyvale would in consideration
therefore, withhold the granting; of its sewage disposal facilities to cities
other than Cupertino in respect to the Lawrence Station Road Sewer and
WHEREAS the City Council of Cupertino believes that it would be to the
best interest of both cities to make a counter proposal
N NOW THEREFORE be it resolveds Tbat the City Council of Cupertino proposes
by way of counter offer that the respective councils meet to consider the possibi4ity
of a contractual relationship under which the City of Cupertino would agree to
take and assume responsibility for the um.sed sewage facilities of Lawrence
Station Road.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED., That a copy of this resolution be forwarded to
the City Council of Sunnyvale and the Maycr be and hereby is instructed to
arrange another meeting with the City Council of Sunnyvale.
The foregoing resolution was introduced at a meeting of the City Council
of the City of Cupertino held on November 14. 1955 by 4yor Lindenmeye who
moved its adoption and passage which motion was carried after being duly seconded
by Councilman Nathanson and passed by the following votes
