RESOLUTION N0. 6257
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
ORDERING VACATION OF A POATION OF THE NORTHNEST CORNER
OF DE ANZA HOULEVARD AND STEVEN3 CREEK BOULEVARD AS
PROVIDED IN SECTION 8320 ET SEp. OF THE STREETS AND
~ HIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS. hearing on Resolution of Intention No. 6239 was held on
February 6, 1984 at a regular meeting of the C1ty Council at 10300
( Torre Avenue, Cupertino. California;
WHEREAS, it appears that notice thereof was duly given as
required by law; and
I NHEREAS, from the evidence presented, both oral xnd documentary~
it appears to be to the best interest of the City to vacate the
hereinafter described portion of a City street; and that said portion
of said City ~treet i~ unneceasary for preaent or proapective public
street purposes; and
NHEREAS. existing streets are adequate to handle present and
future pro~ected traffic; and
WHEREAS~ vacation is in conformance with the City's General Plan; '
NON~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED:
1. That all or any protests against the vacation of sald
portion of City street be and hereby are overruled and denied;
2. That said portion of the northwe~t corner of De Anza
Boulevard and Stevens Creek Boulevard desc~ibed and shoWn in Exhibits
^A" and "B~~ attached hereto and made part hereof~ be and hereby is
vacated.

cause a certified copy of this resolution. attested to and sealed

and being all that portion of Che parcel of )and described in the dedication
from Charles M. Baer and Ethyle B. Baer, husband and Nife, to the City of
Cupertino, dated May 20, 1965 and recorded in Book 6992 of Official Records,
at page 685, Santa Clara County Records, more particularly described as
follaws:
