RESOLUTION NO. 6199
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
ACCEPTING GRANT DEED OF REAL PROPERTY FOR ROADWAY PURPOSES
FROM RALPH E. HODGES
FOOTHILL BOULEVARD AND CUPERTINO ROAD
WHEREAS, Ralph E. Hodges has executed a grant deed which is in good
and sufficient form granting to the City of Cupertino, County of Santa Clara,
State of California, the fee title to certain real property for roadway pur-
poses, situate in the City of Cupertino, more particularly described in Ex-
hibits A and B, attached hereto and made a part hereof, which is as follows:
All that certain real property situate in the City of
Cupertino, County of Santa Clara, State of California,
consisting of approximately 0.118 acres, located along
Foothill Boulevard and Cupertino Road.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Cupertino accept said
grant so tendered; and
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the City Clerk be and is hereby authorized
to record said dedication and this resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Cupertino this 31G ay of October , 1983.

All that certain real property situate in the City of Cupertino, County of
Santa Clara, State of California, more particularly described,as follows:
Commencing at the southwest corner of Lot 116, as shown upon that certain
map entitled "Map of Inspiration Point, tfonta Vista ", which map was recorded
in Volume P of Maps, Page 18, Santa Clara County Records;
Thence from said point of commencement S. 89' 53' E., a distance of 7.00
feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING;
Thence from said TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING, continuing along the southerly line
of Lot 116, S. 89' 53' E., a distance of 25.64 feet;
Thence N. 1' 03' 40" E., a distance of 168.67 feet to a point on the south-
westerly line of Palo Vista Road, as shown on said map;
Thence along said southwesterly line of Palo Vista Road N. 52' 05' W., a
distance of 14.21 feet to a point being the beginning of a tangent curve to
the left;
Thence along said tangent curve to the left, having a radius of 15.00 feet
with a central angle of 78' 20' 30 ", for an arc length of 20.51 feet;
Thence along the easterly line of a 7.00 foot strip of land deeded to the
County of Santa Clara by instrument recorded August 19, 1981 in Book G 285
of Official Records, Page 228, Santa Clara County Records, S. 0" 07' W.,
a distance of 178.19 feet to the TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING.

All that certain real property situate in the City of Cupertino, County
of Santa Clara, State of California, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the most westerly point of Parcel 1, as shown upon that certain
parcel map recorded -in Book 510 of Maps, Page 40, Santa Clara County Records;
Thence from said point of beginning N. 51° 52' 30" W., a distance of 5.67
feet to the intersection with the 40.00 feet radius right -of -way line as
shown on said map;
Thence along a curve to the left with a radius of 40.00 feet from a tangent
bearing of S. 46° 56' 50" W., to a point on the southwesterly line of Palo
Vista Road as shown on said parcel map;
Thence southeasterly along said southwesterly line of Palo Vista Road to
the intersection with the future right -of -way line of Foothill Boulevard
as described in Parcel A;
Thence N. 1° 03' 40" E., a distance of 26.25 feet to the point of beginning.
