RESOLUTION NO. 6146
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
APPROVING RENTAL OF THE COMMUNITY ACCESS STUDIO BY DE
ANZA COMMUNITY COLLEGE TO HELP OFFSET OPERATING COSTS
WHEREAS, the primary purposes of the community access studio at De
Anza Community College are community and educational access; and
WHEREAS, these city franchise oriented uses are not to be degraded,
and
WHEREAS, rental of the Community access studio to people and organiza-
tions will provide revenue to partially offset an expected operating deficit
and to reimburse United Cable for maintaining and replacing studio equipment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Cupertino approves such rental. by De Anza Community College with the under-
standing that it will not be permitted to interfere with the uses for which
the studio was established, community access and educational access.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Cupertino this lat day of August _, 1983 by the following vote:
