A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
I DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER VACATION OF A PORTION OF

I ET SF.Q. OF THE STREETS AND NIGHWAYS CODE OF THE STATE OF
~ CALIFORNIA, FIXING TIt4E AND PLACF. FOR PUBLIC HEARING AND
PROVIDING FOR NOTICE THEREOF
WfiEREAS, that portion of a City s[reet known a~ Olive Avenue and
more particularly descri6ed in descrip[ion and map at[ached here[o and made
part hereof as Exhibits "A" and "B", respectively, is unnecessary for
present or prospec[ive public street purposes; and
WHEREAS, said portian will be re[ained as public utility easement,
i, ;anitary sewer easement, landscape easement, pedestrian and bicycle ease-
~'I men[; and
' tJt1EREAS, the City Council clects to proceed pursuant [o the provisions
of Section 8320 et seq. of the S[ree[s and Highways Code of the State of
' California; and
I WHEREAS, i[ is deemed to be in the publlc lnteres[s that the City
Council elects [o proceed to order sald vacation;
NOW, THEREFORE, 8E IT RESOLVED [hat the City Council hereby declares
its intention to vacate the aforesaid portion oC Ctty street,
BE IT FURTNER RESOLVED:
1. That [he 18th day oE May, 1981, 7:30 p.m., in the Council
Chamber, City Hall, 10300 Torre Avenue, Cupertino, California is the [ime
and place fixed for hearing on the above proposed vacatlon;
, 2. That the aforesaid date is no[ less than 15 days from passage of
[his resolu[ion pursuant [o law;

, 3. That the City Clerk shall cause n certified copy of thig resolutian
to be publixhed Ln the manner prescriUed by law, and shall cause certified
I copies to be posted along the line of said property proposed Lo be vacated
at least 10 days before the date of he~ring and no more [han 300 feet apart
II with a minimum of 3 being poated.
