I A RESOLUTION OF T}IE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO

i "OL1VE AVENUE 80-47" TO IIF. ANNEXF.D TO THE CITY AND
~ ORDERIP7G ANNEXATION TO THE CITY, APPROXIMATELY 1.64 ACRES
~ MORE OR LESS

~ WHEREAS, pursuant to the Municipal Organization Act of 1977 proceedings
j have been initiated to annex to the City all that uninhabited territory
i situate as hereinafter described in the County of Santa Clara, State of
California, hereby designated as 'blive Avenue 80-47", Chief Petitioner,
Monta Vista Development Company.
WFiEREAS, [he Santa Clara County Local Agency Formation Commission, by
I Resolution No. 81-19 adopted March 4, 1981 designated the City of Cupertino
i as the conducting authority; and
I WHEREAS, mailings and notices as set forth wi[hin Sections 35222,
' 35223, and 56086 of the Government Code have been accomplished; and
II WlIEREAS, on April 20, 1981, the City Council of the City of Cupertino
I held a public hearing on the proposed annexation; and
i
~ WIiEREAS, no written protests were filed; and
i WFIEREAS, the reason for the annexation is that the territory may better
' utili2e services provided within the City of Cuper[ino and that the territary
! will benefit from annexing to the Ci[y of Cupertino;
CIOW, TII~R6FORE~ BF. IT RESOLVED that the territory described in Fxhibit
, "A" and as shown on the map in Exhibi[ "B", attached hereto and mada part
~ hereof, is hereby annexed to the City of Cupertino.

All that certain real property located in the Comity of Santa Clara, State of
California, more particularly descri6ed as follows:
Beginning at a poin[ which is SOUTkI, 20.00 fee[ distan[ from the intersec[ion of
the cen[erline Olive Street with the centerline of Pasadena Avenue, as said cen[er-
lines are shown on tha[ certain Record of Survey filed for record on Decem6er 23,
1965, in Book 203 of Ptaps at page 35, Santa Clara Coi~nty Records, said point being
on the boundary of that certain annexation [o the City of Cupertino by Resolution
No. 5462 enti[led "Almaden 80-13";
Thence S. 89~ 51' 30" E., 300.02 feet, said line being on tlie soutt~erly boundary of
Olive Street as shown on said map and the nor[herly boundary of Parcel A as shown
on said Record of Survey Map, said line also being along said annexation "ALMADEN
80-13" to the northeas[ corner of the property of Cilhert L. Taylor and Juanita P1.
Taylor as shown on that cer[ain Record of Survey filed tor record on .1une 8, 1955,
in Book 58 of Maps at Page 44, Santa Clara County Records;
Thence SOUTH 150.00 along [he easterly boundary of said Lands of Taylor, as shown
on said Record of Survey, sail line being along that certain annexation to the
Ci[y of Cupertino by ftesolution No. 3109 entitled "IPiPERIAL 71-7";
Thence N. 89° 57' 30" W 135.00 Eee[ along thc sou[herly boundary oE said Lands of
Taylor as shown on said Record of Survey, said line being along said annexation

Thence SOUTH 161.20 fee[ alon6 a line, said line being conti~uous wi[h the Ci[y
