STEVENS CREEK IIOULEVARD AT CARMEN ROAD; RETe~ININC A POk-

Tllfi STATE OF CALIFORNIA, FIXING TIME AND PLACE FOR PUBLIC
1IEARING AND PROVIDING FOR :+~TICE TNEREOF
WHEREAS, that portion of a City stree[ known as S[evens Creek lloule-
vard at Carmen Road, and more particularly described in descrip[ion and map
attached liereto and made part hereof as Exhibits "A" and "B", respectively,
is unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes; and
WIiEREAS, said portion wili be retained as a temporary right-of-way
' easement; and
' WtIEREAS, the City Council elects to proceed pursuant to the provisions
of Section 8320 et seq. of [he Streets and ttighways Code of tlie State of
California; and
W(fEREAS. it is deemed to be in the puLlic interests that the City Council
! elects to proceed to order said vaca[ions;
' NOW, TIitiREFORG, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby declares its
' intention to vacate the aforesaid portion of Ci[~ stree[.

' 1. That the 3rd day of November, 196U, at 7:30 p.m., in the Council
Chamber, Ci[y Hall, 10300 Torre Avenue, Cupertino, California is the time
and place fixed for hearing on the above proposed vaca[ion;
2. That the aforesaid date is not less [han 15 da~•s from passage of
this resolu[ion pursuant [o law;
, 3. That the City Clerk shalt cause a ctrtified copy of this resolution
to be published in the manner prescribed by law, and shall cause certified
' copies to be posted along the line oF snid property proposed to he vacated
at least 10 day~ before [he date of hearing and no more than 300 feet apart
with a minimum of 3 being poated.
