i INITIATING PROGEIDINGS FOR THE ANNEXATION OF THE ISLAND
~ DESIGNATED "STELLING 80-45", APPROXIMATELY 2 ACRES; LO-
i CATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF STELLING ROAD OPPOSITE CARRIAGE
i CIRCLE AND AD~ACENT TO JOLLYMAN PARK

~ WHGRF.AS, pursuant to Section 35100 of the Municipal Organizatton Act of 1977
' (MORGA), proceedings tor nn island annexation may be ini[iated by resalution
, of the leglslative body of any affected city of any affected county; and
(~lIEREAS, S~i~ [erritory is less than 100 acres and is substantiallv surrounded
' by the City of Cuper[ino (Exhibit "A" and Exhibit "S"); and
WIIERF.AS, said territory is receivinR benefits from the City of Cupectino
' and will benefit fur[her from annexation; and
WHfREAS, "Stelling 80-45" is developed and inhabited
' and is no[ prime agricultural land;
WIIEREAS, the (:ity Coimcil ~f [he City of Cupertino has ~pproved a Master
! Plan Eor Services for island areas and a Si[e Specific Service Plan for
"Stelline 80-45" ; and
IJIIGREAS, public hearings have been conducted by the City of Cupertino and
the territory has Ueen prezoned;

80-45" ; and requests that said proceedinss be conducted pursuant
Co Section 35110 of MORGA.
