CC Resolution No. 5368 , . • RESOLUTION N0. 5368 • A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO RESCINDING RESOLUTION N0. 5344 AND INITIATING PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXATION OF THE•ISLAND DESICNATED "HUNTER HILL 80-25", APPROXIPfATELY 3.06 ACRES; GENERALLY LOCATED IN THE SOUTHkEST QUADRANT OF STEVENS CREEK BOULEVARD AND FOOTHILL BOULEVARD AND NORTHF.RLY OF STEVENS CREEK BOULE- VARD BETTvEEN CALIFORNIA OAK G;AY AND FOOTHILL BOULEVARD ~ I~HEREAS, pursuan[ to Section 35100 of the Municipal Organization Ac[ of ~ 1977 (MORCA), proceedings for an island annexation may be initiated by resolu- I [ion of the legislative body of any affected City of any affected county; and I:HEREAS, said [erritory is less than 100 acres and is substantially sur- rounded by the City of Cupertino (Exhibit "A" and Exhibit "B"); and I kHEREAS, said territory is receiving benefits from [he City of Cupertino and wi•11 benefit further from annexa[ion; and I:HEREAS, Hun[er Hill is unlnhabited and not prime agricultural land; GNEREAS, the City Council of the City of Cupertino h~s approved a Master , Plan for services for island areas and a Site Specific Service Plan for Hunter Hill 80-25; and kHEREAS, public hearings have been conducted by the City of Cupertino and [he territory has been prezoned; NOI:, THEREFORE, 6E IT RESOLVED that the Ci[y Council of the City of Cupertino hereby ini[iates proceedings for the annexation of the area desiRnated Hunter Hill 80-25; and requests that said proceedings be conducted pursuant to Section 35110 of MORGA.
