~ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
~ INITIATING PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXATION OF THE ISLAND
DESIGNATED "MC CLELLAN 80-30", APPROXIMATELY 2.70 ACRES;
GENERALLY LOCATED ON T}iE EAST AND WEST SIDE ON MADRID
SOUTHERLY OF MC CLELLAN ROAD
j WFiEREAS, pursuant to Section 35100 of the Municipal Organization Act
; ' of 1977 (MORGA), proceedinga for an island annexation may be initiated by
I resolution of the legislative body of any affected city of any affected
' county; and
, WHEREAS, said territory is less than 100 acres and is substantially
surrounded by the City of Cupertino (Exhibit "A" and Exhibit "B"); and

WEiEREAS, said [erritory is receiving benefits from the City of Cuper-
tino and will benefit further from annexation; and
WHEREAS, the territory is uninhabited and deveYoping and is not prime
agricultural land; and
' WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Cupertino has approved a
ftaster Plan for Services for island areas and a Site Specific Service Plan
for "McCl@llan 80-30"; and
' WHEREAS, public hearings have been conducted by the City of Cupertino
i and the territory has been prezoned;
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
' Cuper[ino hereby initiates proceedings Eor the annexation of the area designated
"McClellan 80-30" and requests that said proceedings be conducted pursuant
to section 35110 of MORGA.

of Cupertino thia Zlst day of July , 1980 by the following vote:

California, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the nor[heast corner of Lot 26 as shown on that cer[ain "Map of Colony
Tract Pionta Vista", which map was filed for record in Volume P of Ptaps at Page 21,
Santa Clara County Records, said corner being common to [hose certain annexations
to the City of Cupertino established by Resolution No. 2090 entitled "McClellan
70-6" and Ordinance No. 83 entitled "McClellan - lA";
Thence SOUTH 396 feet more or less along the easterly boundary of said "Map of
~ Colony Tract Pionta Vista', said boundary being along said annexation "McClellan - lA"
to a point being the northeastern corner of that certain Tract No. 3663, which map
! was recorded in Book 197 of Maps at page 40, Santa Clara County Records, said corner
~ being common to said annexation "McClellan - lA" and that certain annexation to the
City of Cupertino by Ordinance No. 248, entitled "Toledo 63-6";
Thence•WEST 240.24 feet along the boundary of said Trac[ No. 3663, said boundary
being along said annexation "Toledo 63-6", to a point being the southwest corner
' of Pfadrid Road as shown on said Tract No. 3663 said corner also being the south-
' east corner of Lot 55 as shown on said "Map of Colony Tract Monta Vista";
Thence S 64° 22' W 88 feet more or less along the southerly boundary of said lot 55
as shown on said "Map of Colony Tract Monta Vista", said line also being along sald
annexation "Toledo 63-6", to a point being the southwest corner of said lot 55;
Thence N 25° 38' W 100.12 feet along the westerly boundary of said Lot 55, said
line being along said annexation "Toledo 63-6", to a point being the northwest
corner of eaid Lot 55;
