` RESOLUTION N0. 5303
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TH,E CITY OF CUPERTINO
INITIATING PROCEEDINGS FOR THE ANNEXATION OF THE ISLAND
DESIGNATED "INSPIRATION HEIGHTS 80-6(c)", APPROXIAfATELY
87 ACRES; GENERALLY LOCATED SOUTH OF SAN JUAN ROAD, IN-
CLUDING ARF.~1 SERVED BY MIRAMONTE STREET AND RICARDO ROAD
WHEREAS, purauant to Section 35100 of the Municipal Organization Ac[
of 1977 (MORCA), proceedings for an island annexation may be initiated by
resolution of the legislative body of any affected city of any affected county;
and
IdHERFe1S, said territory is less than 100 acres and is substantially sur-
rounded by the City of Cupertino (Exhibit "A" and Exhibit "B"); and
WHEREAS, said territory is receiving benefits from the City of Cupertino
and will benefit further from annexation; and
WHEREAS, the territory is inhabi[ed and developing and is not prime
agricultural land; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Cupertino has approved a Master
Plan for Services for island areas and a Site Specific Service Plan for "In-
spiration Heights 80-6(c)"; and
WHEREAS, public hearings have been conducted by the City of Cupertino
and the territory has been prezoned;
vOW, TEiERE£ORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Ci[y Council of the City of
Cupertino hereby initia[es proceedings for the annexation of the area desig-
nated "Inspiration Heights 80-6(c)" and requests that said proceedings be
conducted pursuant to Section 35110 of MORGA.
