DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER VACATION OF A PORTION OF

FOR PIIHLIC HF<1RING AND PROVIDING FOR NOTICE THEREOF
i ~dHEREAS, that por~_on of a City street known as Alhambra Avenue
~ and more particularl; descr:bed in description ar.d map attached hereto
' and made part hereof as Exhibits "A" and "B", respectively, is un-
~ r.ecessary for present or p=ospective public street purposes; and
! IdF1EREAS, said portion will be retair,ed as a oublic utilities
' easement and sanitary sewer easement; and
WHERFr1S, the City Councii elec[s to proceed pureuart to t;e pro-
visions of Section 8320 et seq. of the Stree[s a:d Highways Code of
ti~e State of Ca:ifornia;
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the public inte:ests that the City
Council elects to p-oceed to order said vacatior.;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT F.ESOLVED tha~ the City Council hereby declares
its intention to vacs_e t`e aforesaid por[ion of City street.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
1. That the 19ch day of February, '_980, at 7:30 p.m., in the Council
' Chamber, City Haii, 10300 Torre Avenue, Cupertino, California is the time
and place fixed for ?~ear:ng on the above proposed vacation;
2. That the aforesaid date is not less thar. 15 days from passage of
this resolu[ion pursuant to law;
' 3. That the City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this resolution
to be published in the manner prescribed by law, and shall cause certified
copies to be posted alo-g the line of said property nrooosed to be vacated at
least 10 days before the date of hearing and no more that 300 feet apart wi[h
a minimum of 3 beir.g posted.
