CC Resolution No. 5183 ~ ~ RESOLUTION N0. 5183 ~ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO CALLING FOR A GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION TO BE HELD ON APRIL 8, 1980 AND REQUESTING CONSOLIDATION OF ELECTIONS WFIEREAS, April 8, 1980 is the date se[ by law for general elec[ion for [hree sea[s on the City Council; and WNEREAS, a special election may be ordered [o be held in another political subdivision on the same day, in the same [erri[ory, or in territory [hu[ is in , part [he same; and WIIEREAS, pursuant to Chap[er 4 of Part 2 of Division 14 of the Elections Code, [his election may be either comple[ely or par[Sally consolida[ed; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RFS OLVED by the City Council of the City of Cuper- tino: Section 1: Tha[ a general elec[ion is called for April 8, 1980; Section 2: Tha[ [he election shall be for [he purpose of electing persons to [hree Ci[y Council seats now occupied by incumbent Councilmembers James E. Jackson, Rober[ W.
