RESOLUTION N0. 4912
A RESOLUTION OF TfiE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO ORDER VACATION OF ALLEY WEST-
ERLY OF DE A1QZA BOULEVARD BETWEEN SUNRISE DRIVE AND ROD-
RIGUES AVENUE AS PROVIDID IN SECTION 8320 ET SEQ. OF THE
STREETS AND flIGHWAYS CODE OF T1~ STATE OF CALIFORN~A,
FIXING TIME AND PLACE FOR PUBLIC HEARING AND PROVIDING
FOR NOTICE THEREOF
WHEREAS, that portion of a City alley vesterly of De Anza Boulevard betveen
Sunrise Drive and Rodrigues Avenue and more particularly described in descrip-
tion and map attached here[o and made part hereof as Exhibits "A" and "B".
respectively, is unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council elects to proceed pursuant to the provisions
of Section 8320 et seq. of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of Califotnia;
and
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the public interests that the City Council
elects to proceed [o order said vacation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby declares its
intention to vacate the aforesaid portion of City stree[.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
1. That the 5th day of March, 1979, at 7:30 p.m. i~ the Council Chamber,
City Hall, 10300 Torre Avenue, Cupertino, California is the time and place fixed
for hearing on the above proposed vacation;
2. That the aforesaid date is not less than 15 days from passage of
this resolution pursuant to lam;
3. That the City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this resolution
to be published in the manner prescribed by law, and shall cause certified copies
to be pos[ed along the line of said property proposed to be vacated at least
10 days before the date of hearing and no more than 300 feet apart with a mini-
mum of 3 being posted.

34 and 35, Santa Clara County Records, and as shown upon that certain Tract
No. 910. vhich map aas recarded in Book 34 of Maps at page 33. Santa Clara

Commencing at the northwes[ coraer of Lot 1 of Block 3, as shorrn upon said
Tract No. 661, thence N.89°45'09"E., 53.93 feet to the TRUE POINT OF
BEGINNING;
Thence from TRUE POINT OF BEGINNING along a tangent curve to the right having
a radius of 20.00 feet through a central angle of 90°12'S1" for aa arc length
of 31.49 feet;
Thence S.0°02'E., 217.65 feet to a beginniag of a tangent curve to the right;
Thence along said curve to the right having a radius of 20.00 feet through a
central angle of 89°47'09" for an arc length of 31.38 feet;
Thence along the northerly line of Rudrigues Avenue N.89°45'09"E., 60.00 feet;
Thence from a tangent bearing of 5.89°45'09"W., along a tangent curve to
the righ[ having a radius of 20.00 feet, through a cen[ral angle of 90°12'S1"
for an arc length of 31.49 feet;
Thence N.0°a2'W.. 217.65 feet to a beginning of a tangent curve to the right;
Thence along said tangent curve to the right having a radius of 20.00 feet,
