CC Resolution No. 4880 ' • ~ ~ RESOLUTION N0. 4880 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO MAKING ITS ORDER DESCRIBING THE BOUNDARIES DESIGNATED AS "PERMANENTE 78-8" TO BE ANNEXED TO THE CITY AND ORDERING ANNEXATION TO THE CITY APPROXIMATELY 11 ACRES, ~ MORE OR LESS I WHEREAS. pursuant to the Municipal Organiaation Act of 1917 proceedings have been initia[ed to annex to the City all that uninhabited territory situate as hereinafter described in the County of Santa Clara, State of California hereby designated as "Permanente 78-8", Chief Petitioner Blancte 9arthwick Woelffel; and WFiEREAS. the Santa Clara County Local Agency Formation Commission, by Res- olution No. 78-170 adopted Oct. 4, 1978 designated the City of Cupertino as the j conduc[ing authority; and I ! WHEREAS, mailings and notices as set forth within Sections 35222, 35223 and , 56086 of the Governnent Code have been accomplished; and IJHEREAS, on the 20th of November~ 1978, the City Co~ncil of the City of Cupertino held a public hearing on Che proposed annexation; and WHEREAS, no vritten protests vere filed; and ~ WHEREAS, the reason for the annexation is that the territory may better utilize services provided within the City of Cupertino and that the territory vill benefit from annexing to the City of Cupertino; NOW.
