A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
MAKING ITS ORDER DESCRIBING THE BOUNDARIES DESIGYATED ~1S
"Sr1NTA CL~1RA 78-4" TO BE ANNE:CED TO THE CITY AND ORDERING
~1NNEXATIONS TO THE CITY WITHOUT PUBLIC HE~IRING AS PRO-
VITED BY LAW; r1PPROXIMATELY 0.19 ACRE; LOCATED ON THE
WEST SIDE OF SANTA CLARA AVENUE BETWEE;1 GR~1ND AVENUE AND
• ALH~MBIL1 ~VENUE
~ WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Organization
Act of 1977, proceedings have been initiated by the City Council,
i at the request of all the owners of the real property situate in the property
~ hereinafter described, on its own motion to annex [o the City all of that
' uninhabited territory si[uate in che County of Santa Clara, State oi California
hereby designated as "Santa Clara 78-4"; and
' WFiERF.~15, the Santa Clara County Local Agency Formation Commission, by
Resolution No. 78-85 adopted the 3rd day of May, 1978, has authorized the
City of Cupertino to annes [he [erritory described in Exhibit "A" and as shown
' on the map in Exhibit "B", designated as "Santa Clara 78-4", without notice,
' hearing or election in accordance wi[h Section 35221 of the Covernment
Code; and
WHEREe1S, the City Council finds that it is to the best interest of the
City and of the territory proposed to be annesed that the territory be annesed
without public hearing;
~OW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the territory described in Exhibi[
"A" and as shown on the map in Exhibit "B", attached hereto and made part hereof,
is hereby annexed to [he City of Cupertino.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Cupertino this 5th day of June , 1978, by the follwoing vote:
