A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
EXTENDING THE EXISTING TRAFFIC SIGNAL CONTRACT AND APPROV-
ING INCREASES IN CERTAIN LABOR RATES
WHEREAS, the existing Traffic Signal Contract provides for two extensions
of one year each with concurrence of the contractor; and
WHERFAS, the contractor has agreed to extend the contrac[ at the current
rate for preventive maintenance; and
WHEREAS, the contract provides for labor rate increases when the consumer
price index at San Francisco increases; and
WEiEREAS, the contractor has established that an increase of 8.4% has occurr-
ed between March, 1977 and March, 1978;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City agrees to the extension of the
Signal Maintenance Contract to June 30, 1979; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City agrees that the labor rates shall be
increased to those shown on the attached document marked Exhibit "A".
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Cupertino this 5th day of June , 1978, by the following vote:
