CONCURRING IN THE AA~ND1~2iT TO THE SOLID WASTE
MANAGE~tENT PIAN FOR SANTA CI.EIRA COUNTY ESTe~BLIS$-
I.IG AN I:ITERIri, COUNTYWIDE ADMINISTRATIVE
STRUCTUAE
~1fiEREAS, the County oE Saata Clara and all the citiea therein have '
zegularly approved and adopted a County~ride Solid Waste !fanagement Plan
as required under provisions of Senate Bill 5 and eubsequenc State leg- '
islation; and
WHEREIIS, the 5olid IJaste ~tanagement Board of the State of Calitornia,
in granting "partial approval" to the Plan held a single reservation re- '
lated to the administration, maintenance and implementation of the Plaa
and its recommandations during the formative period for a Countywide Joint '
?ovar9 Agency; and ,
~EAS, the City of Cupertiao has considered the aeed for an Interim ~
Administrative Structure for Solid Waste *fanagement and the provisions of
the amendment herein referred to, in the li~ht of requirements of the local
PtoBr~ and the State IIoard;
'ioW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed to for- '
ward a certified copy of this Resolution to the Santa Clara Coun[y Board of
Supervisors.
