RESOLUTION N0. 4521
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
MAKING ITS ORDER DESCRIBING THE BOUNDARIES DESIGNATED :AS
"PALM 77-6" TO BE ANNEXED TO THE CITY AND ORDERING
ANNEXATIONS TO THE CITY WITHOUT PUBLIC HEARING AS PROVIDED
BY LAW; APPROXIMATELY 0.46 ACRES LOCATED NORTH SIDE OF
PALM AVENUE BETWEEN MI'RA VISTA ROAD AND FOOTHILL BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Annexation of Uninhabited Ter-
ritory Act of 1939, proceedings have been initiated by the City Council, at
the request of all the owners of the real property situate in the property
hereinafter described, on its own motion to annex to the City all of that
uninhabited territory situate in the County of Santa Clara, State of California
hereby designated as "Palm 77-6"; and
WHEREAS, the Santa Clara County Local Agency Formation Commission, by
Resolution No. 77-139 adopted the 6th day of July, 1977, has authorized the
City of Cupertino to annex the territory described in Exhibit "A" and as shown
on the map in Exhibit "B", designated as "Palm 77-6", without notice, hearing
or election in accordance with the Knox-Nisbet Act, Section 54797.1 of the
Government Code; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is to the best interest of the
City and of the territory proposed to be annexed that the territory be annexed
without public hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the territory described in Exhibit "A"
and as shown on the map in Exhibit "B", attached hereto and made part hereof,
is hereby annexed to the City of Cupertino.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Cupertino this lst day of August , 1977, by the following vote:

PALM 77-6
All that certain real property situate in the County of Santa Clara,
State of California, more particularly described as follows:
All of Lots 258 and 263 as shown upon that certain map entitled, "Map of
Inspiration Point, Monta Vista", which map was filed for record in the
Office of the Recorder of the County of Santa Clara, State of California,
on April 11, 1917 in Book P of Maps, at page 18;
Beginning at the southwest corner of said lot 263 of said map;
Thence S. 89~ 53' E., 100.12 feet along the northerly line of Palm Avenue
as shown on said map, said line also being a northerly line of that certain
annexation to the City of Cupertino entitled "Palm 72-3";
' Thence N. 0~ 07' E., 200.24 feet along the easterly line of said lot 258
and 263, to the northeast corner of said lot 258, as shown on said map;
Thence N, 89° 53' W., 100.12 feet along the norttierly line of said lot 258,
to the northwest corner of said lot 258, said line also being the southerly
boundary line of that certain annexation to the City of Cupertino entitled
"E1 porado 63-5";
' Thence S. 0~ 07' W., 200.24 feet along the westerly line of said lot 258
and 263 to the Point of Beginning.
Containing 0.460 acres, more or less.
