RESOLUTION N0. 4490
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
EXTENDING THE EXISTING TRAFFIC SIGNAL CONTP~ACT AND APPP.OV-
ING INCREASES IN CERTAIN LABOR RATES
WHEREAS, the existing Traffic Signal Contract provides for two extensions
of one year each with concurrance of the contractor; and
WHEREAS, the contractor has agreed to extend the contract at the current
rate for prevent~ve maintenance;°and
WHEREAS, the contract provides for labor rate increases when the consumer
price index at San Francisco increases; and
WHEREAS, the contractor has established that an increase of 6.5% has occur•r-
ed between March, 1976 and March, 1977;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City agrees to the extension of the
Signal Maintenance Contract to June 30, 1978; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City agrees that the labor rates shall be
increased to those shown on the attached document marked Exhibit "A".
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Cupertino this 21st day of June , 1977, by the following vote:
