RESOLUTION N0. 4439 ~
' A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
ACCEPTING A GRANT OF EASEMENT FOR ROADWAY PURPOSES FROM
JOSEPH F. BROWN AND VERA E. BROWN, LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE
OF NORTH DE ANZA BOULEVARD BETWEEN LAZANEO DRIVE AND MARIANI
AVENUE
WHEREAS, JOSEPH F. BROWN AND VERA E. BROWN, Grantor, have executed a
Grant of Easement which is in good and sufficient form, conveying to the City
of Cupertino, Grantee, an easement for street purposes over the property
situate in the City of Cupertino, County of Santa Clara, State of California,
more particularly described in Exhibit "A" and Exhibit "B", attached hereto
and made a part hereof:
All that certain real property situate in the City of Cupertino,
County of Santa Clara, State of California, consisting of approxi-
mately 0.041 acres, located on the west side of North De Anza Bou-
levard between Lazaneo Drive and Mariani Avenue.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Cupertino accept said
Grant so tendered; and
IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is hereby
authorized to record said Grant of Easement and this Resolution.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Cupertino on the 5th day of April , 19j7 , by the following
vote:

RIGHT-OF-WAY ACQUISTION
~ LANDS OF BROWN
All that certain real property situate in the City of Cupertino,
County of Santa C1ara, State of California, being a portion of
that certain parcel of land described in the Deed recorded in
Book 7702 of Official Records at page 517, Santa Clara County
Records, more particularly described as follow~:
BEGINNING at the most southeasterly corner of Parcel No. 4, as
, said parcel is shown on the Record of Survey, recorded in Book
316 of Maps at pages 46 and 47, Santa C1ara Co unty Records, said
corner being on the westerly line of Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road;
thence along the southerly line of said parcel; S 89° 51' S7" W,
20.00 feet to a point on a line that is parallel with and 20.00
feet westerly (measured at right angles) from said westerly line
of Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road; thence leaving said southerly line
along said para11e1 line N 0° OS' 29" W, 89.95 feet to a point
on the northerly line of said parcel; thence along said north-
~ erly line N 89° 51' S7" E, 20.00 feet to the most northeasterly
corner of "said parcel, said corner being a point on said westerly
, line of Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road; thence along said westerly
line S 0° 05' 29" E, 89.95 feet to the Point of Beginning.
