CC Resolution No. 4045 , RESOLUTION N0. 4045 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO DECLARING ITS INTENTION MAKING APPLICABLE THE PROVISIONS OF THE CALIFORNIA VEHICLE CODE TO PRIVATE ROADS WITHIN VALLCO FASHION PARK AND VALLCO VILLAGE; FIXING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING AND PROVIDING FOR NOTICE THEREOF WHEREAS, Vallco Fashion Park situated east and west of Wolfe Road, north of Stevens Creek Boulevard, and Vallco Village situated west of Wolfe Road and south of Homestead Road contain privately owned and maintained roads within the City of Cupertino that are not generally held open for use of the public for purposes of vehicular travel, but by reason of their proximity to, or connection with highways, the interests of any residents residing along such roads and the motoring public will best be served by application of the provisions of the California Vehicle Code to such roads; and WHEREAS, Vallco Park, Ltd, sole owner of Vallco Village Shopping Center and fee owner and lessor of the Vallco Fashion Park has requested the appli- cation of the provisions of the California Vehicle Code to such roads aforemen- tioned; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Cuper- tino declares its intention to make application of the provisions of the Cal- ifornia Vehicle Code as heretofore described; BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED: 1, That the 22nd day of October, 1975, at 7:30 p, m, in the Council Chamber, City Iiall, 10300 Torre Avenue, Cupertino, California, is the time and place fixed for hearing on the above intention; 2. That the aforesaid date is not less than ten (10) days from passage of this resolution as required by law; 3. That the City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this resolution to be published in the Cupertino Courier, the official newspaper of the City, for at least two (2) successive weeks prior to the hearing, and shall cause certified copies to be posted along the streets affected at least ten (10) days before the date of the hearing and no more than 300 feet apart with a minimum of three (3) being posted.
