WHt~RF,AS, on June 1975, this Council adopLed a resolution ~ appointing time and place of hearing protests in relation to the pro- posed acquisitions and improvements and directing notice; WHE}~:AS, notice tiaas given of the time and place therein stated in the manner provided by law, as appear from the certificates on file in ~ the office of the City Clerk; WI~E3~,AS, said ~:atter came on regularly for hearing at the time Lherein fixed; and • ~ WHERE.~1S, a11 ,wr.it,ten ,proxte.sts :and .other written communications were publicly re.ad at said meeting, and all persons desiring to be heard ~ were ful~y heard; . That protests against said acauisitions and improvements were not signed by the ow:~ers of a majority or mcre of the area of the lands within ~ne 2ssessrnent district, or of the area of tne lands within the assessrnent district assessed for the cos~s and expenses of said acqui- sitions~~and improvements. ~ , 2. That said protests be, and each of them are hereby overruled.
