CC Resolution No. 3875.11 WJ6IL:KJ:vlm 12/24/75~ ~ ~ , BESOLUTION N0. 3875.11 A R~;SOLU'fION OT' TIi~ CITY COUNCIL OF TH~ CITY OF CUPERTINO ACCEPTING COhfPL~TION OF PORTION OF WORK AND DIRECTING ENGIN~rR TO FIL~ NOTICE OF CO;~IPLETION FOR VALLCO PARK ASS~SShiENT DISTRICT N0. 1974-4 ~ RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Cupertino, California~ that FYHEREAS, this Council is conductin~ proceedings for the levy of assessments under the b4unicipal Improvement Act of 1913 and the issu-. ~ ance of bonds to represent unpaid assessments under the Improvement Bond Act of 1915 to finance certain acquisitions anci improvements in said city pursuant to Resolution of Intention No. 3875.2 adopted March 17, 1975; ~YHEREAS, the improvements described in said Resolution of Inten- tion are proposed to be constructed or acquired in~phases as the V:or~: is completed, the first~phase of which is generally described as ~follows, to wit: . DESCRIPTIO\i OF IIiPROVE'~IENTS ~ All improvements described in the Engineer's Repoi•t for Assessment District No. 74-4, including irrigation facilities but excenting ~vat~r mains, the fountain, other surface landscaping features in ~Yolfe RaaG, as follotivs : ~ ~ 1. The widening and improving of~ ~Yolfe Road to a~vidth of eight ( 8) lanes from Vallco Parkway to Interstate 280.~ 2. blodification of signalization and median opening construction as outlined in the de Leuw Cather report o~ May 24, 1973. 3. Installation of a multi-phase traffic signal and intersection construction and modification to include all restriping necess- ary along Stevens Creek Boulevard, all at Stevens Creelc Boulevard ~vest of jVolfe Road (perimeter road) . ~ 4. Elimination of the existing median opening just east of Sears Auton~otive Center. ~ 5. Construction of cul-de-sacs as approved by the Director of Public 1Vorks at the termini of Auburn Drive~ hierritt Drive and Amhurst Drive aL Vallco .Park. 6. The construction of all w•ork auxiliary to any of the above and necessary to complete same. August 1, 1975; ~ ~ ~ ~'1HER~:~S, it appears to the satisfaction of this Council that . the Phase I Improvements have been fully completed and done as pro- vided in said contract and the plans and specifications therein . referred to; . NO~~', .THER~F'ORE ~ IT IS ORllERED, as follows , ~ 1. That the pi•oceedings conducted pursu;:nt to said Resolution of Intention are liereby chan~;ed and modified to provide for the acquisition of said existing Ph~se I improvements rather than their construction. . ~ 2.
