A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO CHANGE STREET NAME WITHIN THE
CITY OF CUPERTINO PURSU~I.NT TO SECTION 5026 OF THE STREETS
AND HIGHWAYS CODE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, FIXING TIME AND
PLACE FOR HEARING AND PROVIDING NOTICE THEREOF; CHANGE A
PORTION OF IMPERIAL AVENUE NORTHERLY OF BUBB ROAD TO
RESULTS WAY
WHEREAS, a portion of the proposed alignment of Imperial Avenue between
. Bubb Road and the existing Imperial Avenue has been abandoned by the City
creating a section of roadway off Bubb Road which will be a cul-de-sac and
have no connection with Imperial Avenue; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to re-name this section of the roadway and as
Measurex Corporation located adjacent to this section of roadway has requested
that the name be "Results Way";
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Gountil hereby declares its
intention to re-name said section of the roadway as shown in Exhibit "A" to
"Results Way".
SE IT FURTHER RESOLVED:
1. That the 18th day of Feb ruary, 1975, at 7:30 p, m. in the Council
Chamber, City Hall, 10300 Torre Avenue, Cupertino, California, is
the time and place fixed for hearing on the name change.
2. That the aforesaid date is not less than fifteen (15) days from pas-
sage of this resolution as required by law;
3. That the City Clerk shall cause a certified copy of this resolution
to be published in the Cupertino Courier, the official newspaper of
the City, for at least two (2) successive weeks prior to the hearing,
and shall cause certified copies to be posted along street affected
at least ten (10) days before the date of the hearing and no more than
300 feet apart with a minimum of three (3) being posted.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Cupertino this 20th day of January , 1975, by the following vote:
