RESOLUTION N0. 3816
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO
OKllERING CLOSURE WITH PERMANENT rENCE AND LANDSCAPING OF
A TWENTY-FOOT WALKWAY CONNECTING RIEDEL PLACE TO PORTAL
PARK WITHTN THE CITY OF CUPERTINO PURSUANT TO ~ SECTION
50430 OF THE GOVERNMENT CODE OF THE STATE OF ,CALIFORNIA
WI~'EREAS, hear3.ng on Resolution of Intention No. 3794 was held on
the 6th day of January, 1975, in the Council Chamtiers, City Hall, 10300
Torre Avenue, Cupertino, California, at a regular meeting of the City
Council of the City of Cupertino; and
WHEREAS, it appears that notice thereof was duly given as required by
law; and
WHEREAS, £rom the eviden~e presented, both oral and documentary, it
appears to be tb the~Best interests of the City to permanently close said
walkway easement with landscaping ~nd. 6 foot fence;
NOF1, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that:
1. Al1 or any protests against the closure of said walkway easement
~e and hereby are overruled and denied;
2. That certain twenty-foot walkway connecting Riedel Place to
Portal Park more particularly descri~ed and shown in Exhibits
"A" and "B" attaclied~ liereto and made part liereof , be and hereby
is permanently closed witli a 6 foot fence and pyracantha shrubs
to lie installed on eitlier side.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVEb:
That the City Clerk be and hereby is instructed and directed to cause
a certified copy of this resolution, attested to and sealed with the official
seal of the City, to be recorded ~aith the County Recorder of the County of
Santa CTara, California, fortliwitli.'
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of tlie City Council of the
City of Cupertino this 6th day of January, 1975, by tlie following vote:

the True Point of Beginning;
