WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Annexation of tlninhabited Ter-
rito~y Act of. 1939, proceedings have been initiated by the City Council, at the
~ request of all the owners of the real property situate in the property herein-
after described, on its own motion to annex to the City all of that uninhabited
territory situate in the County of Santa Clara, State of California, hereby desig-
nated as "Hanahoe 74-1"; and
WIiEREAS, the Santa Clara County Local Agency Formation Commission, by Reso-
lution No. 74-42 adopted the 3rd day of April, 1974, has authorized the City of
Cupertino to anneh the territory described in Exhibit "A", and as shown on the
, map in Exhibit "B", designated as "Hanahoe 74-1", without notice, hearing or
election in accordance with the District Reorganization Act of 1965; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is to the best interest of the City
and of the territory proposed to be annexed that the territory be annexed with-
out public hearing;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the territory described in Exhibit "A"
and as shown on the map in Exhibit "B", attached hereto and made part hereof,
is hereby annexed to the City of Cupertino.

All that certain real property situate in the County of Santa Clara, State of
California, more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at a Northwest corner of that certain parcel of land annexed to the
City of Cupertino on October 6, 1969 by Resolution No. 1878, entitled "Hanahoe
~ 69-7", said corner being described in Deed from Vincent Piccolo et. ux. to John
. ~d. Hanahoe et. ux. in Book 6946, Official Records, page 416, Santa Clara County
Records, commencing from said point S.0°07'W. alor.g the westerly line of said
annexation for a distance of 100.12 feet to the True Point of Beginning;
the~ce S. 00°07'00"W. a distance of 107.12 feet along said Westerly line to the
Northerly right-of-way line of Stevens Creek Boulevard, 75 feet in width;
thence along the last mentioned right-of-way line S. 83°12'30"W., a distance of
100.85 feet; ~
~ thence along a line common to Lot 26 and 27 as shown on that certain map entitled
"Map of Inspiration Point Plonta Vista," filed in the Office of the Recorder of
the County of Santa Clara, State of California, on April 11, 1917 in Book P of
Maps at page 18, N. 00°07'00"E. a distance of 119.25 feet to a point common to
Lot 27 and 13, as shown on the above mentioned map, said point is also described
in an annexation to the City of Cupertino on May 25, 1972 by Resolution No.
3757, entitled "Hanahoe 72-2"; ~
thence along a line conunon to Lots 27 and 13, as described above, N. 89°53'00"W.,
a distance of 100.12 feet to the True Point of Beginning.
Containing 0.260 acres, more or less.
