A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE ~
~ CITY OF CUPERTINO DIRECTING MARING~OF AMENDED
~ ' ~ A6SESSMENT REGARDING CERTAIN ASSESSMENTS ~
~ DNDER ~SOLUTION OF INTENTION N0..3101-3 ~
. CROSSROADS ASSESSMENT DISTRICT~PROJECT N0. 71-2
~ ~ ASSESSMENT N0. 16 ~ . ~
. RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Cupertino, .
~ Santa Clara County, California, that
WHEREAS,.an assessment and diagram were made and filed with ~
the City Clerk of said City all pursuan.t to Resolution of Intention
No.. 3101-3, adopted by the City Council of said City on March 6,
1972, and the provisions of the Municipal Improvement Act of 1913,
and said assess~uent was confirmed by said Council on November 6,
1972, and recorded in.the office of the Superintendent of Streets
of said City and in the office of the County Surveyor of said ~
County; and , ~
WIiEREAS, certain lots or parcels of. land upon which there
are.unpaid assessments against which bonds have been issued under
~ the Improvement Bond Act of 1915, have been divided so that they
no lonqer conforln to the original parcel boundaries as shown on
said assessment; . ~ . ~ ~
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS ORDERED, that:. . .
1. The City Enqineer shall cause to be prepared and filed~
with the City Clerk a report and amended assessment and diagr.am of .
the lots or parcels so divided, said parcel being designated
Assessment No.~ 16. ~ .
2. That the unpaid installments of said original assess- ~
ment shall be segregated and apportioned in accordance with the '
~ benefits to the.several parts of the original lot or parcel and ~
the total amount of the assessments of the several portions of ~
the~.original. lot or parcel shall be equal to t he unpaid assessment ~ ~
upon said original lo.t or .parcel of land. ~ . .
~ 3. That~. Monday, the 6th day of December, ,197~6, at the
hour of 7:30 p.m., at.the regular meeting place of said.Council,
~ Cauncil Chambers,~10300 Torre Avenue, Cupertino, California, be,
and the same.are hereby, fixed as the~tim~ and place.for hearing ,
said amended assessment before said Council. ~
4. That the City Clerk of said City shall advertise the
time and place of such hearing before the City Council by publish-
ing a notice of said amended assessment twice in the Cupertino-
Monta Vista Courier, a newspaper of general circulation published
and circulated in said City, the first publication being not less
than fifteen (15) days before said hearing.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Cupertino this 16th day of November 1976, by
