A RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO MAKE
, CHANGES AND MODIFICATIONS
DE ANZA, ET AL., IMPROVEMENT PROJECT N0. 66-1
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Cupertino,
California, that the public interest, convenience and necessity re-
quire, and that it is the intention of said City Council to make the
following changes and modifications in the acquisitions and improve-
ments ordered to be made, the boundaries of the assessment district
formed, and the assessment filed pursuant to Resolution of Intention
No. 1381-3, adopted by this Council on January 3, 1967, to wit:
a) Addition of the acquisition of easements necessary to widen
, McClellan Road to a uniform width of 60 feet in that portion of
McClellan Road outside the City limits of the City of Cupertino
which is westerly of a point about 1133 feet westerly of the cen-
ter line of Stelling Road (being the portion of said Road which
fronts the parcel of land designated as Assessment Parcel Number 5
on the revised boundary map hereinafter referred to) and the im-
proving thereof by clearing and grubbing, grading, subgrade prepa-
ration, base pavement and wearing surface, asphalt feathering, con-
crete curbs, gutters and sidewalks, traffic bars, striping, storm
drain pipe, catch basins, manholes and appurtenances, fire hydrants,
electroliers and street signs.
b) Addition of the acquisition of easements necessary to widen
Stevens Creek Boulevard to a uniform width of 120 feet in that por-
' tion of said Boulevard which fronts the parcels of land designated
as Assessment Parcel Noso 39 and 40 on the revised boundary map -
hereinafter referred to, and the improving thereof by clearing and
grubbing, grading, subgrade preparation, base pavement and wearing
surface, asphalt feathering, and berms, concrete curbs, gutters,
sidewalks and islands, traffic bars, striping, storm drain pipe,
catch basins, manholes and appurtenances, water ma,ins, valves, hy-
drants, hose bibbs, meter connections and appurtenances, electro-
liers, traffic signals and signs.
c) The acquisition of all lands and easements and the construc-
tion of all work auxiliary to any of the above and necessary to
complete the same.
d) Revision of the boundaries of the assessment district to be
assessed, which revised boundaries are hereby described as shown on
a revised map of the assesscnent district on file in the office of
the City Clerk, reference to such ma.p being hereby made for partic-
ulars, which map contains the name of the City and a distinctive
designation in words or by number of the district shown thereon
and the word "Revised."

e) Revision of the assessment diagram to show the boundaries
and dimensions of the respective subdivisions of land within the
territory added to said assessment district by the revision of
' the boundaries thereof as above provided, each of which subdivi-
sions shall be given a separate number on said diagram.
Increase in the estimate o£ costs and expenses in the
amounts necessary to make said acquisitions and improvements; and
increase in the total amount of the assessment, in the amount of
said increase in the estimate of costs and expenses, by apportion-
ing and distributing said assessment as lncreased according to
benefits.
The Engineer of Work shall make said changes in acquisitions and im-
provements and estimate of costs and expenses by filing an amendment
to his report herein, and shall make said revision of the assessment
diagram by filing a revised assessment diagram herein, and shall make
said changes in the assessment on the face thereof. On the original
and at least one copy of said revised map oP the assessment district
the City Clerk shall endorse his certificate evidencing the date and
adoption of this resolution. The Clerk shall file the original of
such map in his office and at least ten days prior to the hearin~
hsreinafter referred to, shall file, without charge, a copy thereof
with the County Recorder of Santa Clara County.

meeting place of said Council, Council Chambers, City Hall, Cupertino,
California, are hereby fixed as the time and place when and where said
Council will consider the matter of makin~ said changes and modifica-
tions and hearing all protests and persons interested therein.
The City Clerk of said City shall cause a copy of this resolu-
tion to be published once in the Cupertino Courier, a newspaper of
general circulation published in said City, and the paper in which the
Notice of Improvement under said Resolution of Intention was published,
and to be mailed to all property owners where assessments are in-
creased, said publication to be at least ten days before said day of

hearing, and said mailing to be at least 20 days prior to said hear-
ing date.
