Ordinance 197 Ordinance suspended 2-13-62 - Rescinded by referendum 4-10-62 • ORDINANCE N0. 197 111 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CUP ;RTINO AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE . NO. 2 BY RECLASSIFYING A CERTAIN PORTION OF T11S CITY OF CUPERTINO FROM AN R-2-H AND R-3-H DISTRICT TO PO-H DISTRICT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, on August 17, 1961, an application was filed by MacKay & Somps for the rezoning of property from an R-2-H and R-3-H District to a C-1-H District (amended to PO• H on December 18, 1961) ; and WHEREAS, upon due notice and after two public hearings the Planning Commission recommended to the City Council that the reclassification be granted, as amended; and WHEREAS, the City Council after due notice and upon conclusion of its duly scheduled public hearing, recommended the rezoning of the sub- ject property; and WHEREAS, the property to be rezoned is presently in an R-2-H and R-3-H District; and WHEREAS, a map of the subject property is attached hereto as Ex- hibit "A" as a proposed amendment of the Pastel' Zoning Map of the City • of Cupertino; • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED AS FOLLOWS: Section 1 . That the following described property be and hereby is zoned to PO-H classification and that Exhibit "A" attached hereto is made part of the Master Zoning Map of the City of Cupertino; subject to the attached conditions known as Exhibit "B" . All that certain real property situate in the City of C•. verbino, County of Santa Cla;:a, State of California, described as follows: BEGINNING at a point in the Northerly line of that certain 19.59 acre tract of land described in the Deed from San Jose Abstract & Title Insurance Co. , a corporation, to Michael De Palma, et x, dated January 21, 1946, recorded January 22, 1946 in Book 1319 Official Records, page 170, Santa Clara County Records, distant thereon South 89° 45' West 310. 14 feet from the Northeasterly corner thereof in the center line of Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road; thence from said point of bed-;inning South 0° 10 ' East and. pa? :•,l el with said center line of Saratoga-Sunnyvale Road 643. 87 feet to a point on the Southerly line of said 19.59 acre tract; thence West along said last ual,ted line 170 feet, more or less, to the South- easterly corner of that certain tract of land described in the Deed from W. H. Field, III, et al, to Harry W.
