2.32.010 and 2.32.020 of the Q~perkim Municipal Code are amended to read
as follows:
The City Planning Caanisaion is established. The City Plarmirg
Commission shall consist oP five members, none of whan shall be officials
or employees of the City and none of wtx~ shall cohabit with as defined by
law, nor be related by blood ar marriage to any other member of the
Oammissian, the City Manager ar the staff parson(s) assigned to this
Commission. 'IIze five maobers eha].1 be appoinrted by the City Oouncil.
Each member shall be a qualified elector in and resident of the City.
Eac3i member shall receive ca~ensation as established by resolutia-: cf the
City Council.
2.32.020 Term oP Office of Members.
Co[t¢nissioners serve at the pleasure of the City Council. The members
shall be appointed for terms consistent with the .provisions oP the
Consezvation and Planning Iaw of the State of California with respect
thereto. the term of office of the members of the Planning Oonmission
shall be far four years and shall end on January 15th of the year their
term is due to expire. No ocmaissioner shall serve more than two
consecutive terms except that a o~missioner may serve more than two
consecutive terms if he ar sha has been appointed to tha Commission to
fill an unexpired term of less than two years.
the appointment, reappoi~oent and rules governing irxumbent members
oP the Oarmissicn are governed by Resolution No. 7571 of the Cupertino
City Council.
