HomeMy WebLinkAboutOrdinance 1385 ORDINANCE NO. 1385 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO AMENDING SECTION 1 OF ORDINANCE NO. 3 BY REZONING PROPERTY FROM R1-10ag TO R1-7. 5 ZONE LOCATED ON THE NORTH SIDE OF MCCLELLAN, ROAD 150 FT. EAST OF STELLING ROAD THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF CUPERTINO DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, on July 2, 1986, an application was filed by H. W. Associates Investment Company for the rezoning of property from R1-10 (Residential, Single-family, 10,000 sq. ft. minimum lot size) Zone and RI-ag (Agricultural Residential, Single-family, 10,000 sq. ft. minimum lot size) Zone to R1-7.5 (Residential, Single-family, 7,500 sq. ft. minium lot size zone; and WHEREAS, upon due notice and after one public hearing the Planning Commission recommended to the City Council that the Rezoning be granted; and WHEREAS, the property to be rezoned is presently in a Santa Clara County R1-7.5, Single-Family, 7,500 sq. ft. minimum lot size Zone; and WHEREAS, a map of the subject property is attached hereto as Exhibit "B" as a proposed amendment to the Master Zoning Map of the City of Cupertino NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. That the property described in attached Exhibit "A" be axle hereby is rezoned to a City of Cupertino R1-7.5 (Single-Family, Residential, Single-Family, 7,500 sq. ft. minimum lot size) zone; and that Exhibit "B" attached hereto is made part of the `!aster Zoning Map of the City of Cupertino. Section 2. This ordinance shall take effect and be in force thirty (30) days after its passage.
